News Christie Cookie's Dough for Charities

When most companies hit a major milestone, they come up with some half-baked promotion to congratulate themselves and their customers. The Christie Cookie Company decided to cook up something a little more thoughtful to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Recognizing the hit nonprofits have taken in the recession, the company has announced The Christie Cookie $25,000 Charity Giveaway. It's a sweet deal for organizations that depend on donations to make a difference. You can name your charity of choice through Oct. 15, and the most-nominated nonprofit will receive $10,000. The runner-up will get $5,000, and 10 more will get $1,000.
To make your nomination, visit ilovechristiecookies.com. Then spread the word to other supporters of your favorite charity and hope it pans out for them.
