Arnold Myint and the Zeus entertainment team have unveiled the name of their much-anticipated Church Street enterprise: Suzy Wong's House of Yum. The name is a reference to the 1960 film The World of Suzie Wong, starring William Holden, about a struggling artist who unknowingly rents a room in a house of ill repute in Hong Kong and ends up falling in love with one of the working girls. On Church Street, the name is intended to fuse the nightlife culture of Zeus' brands Tribe and Play and the Asian-inspired cuisine of executive chef Myint, who also owns Belmont Boulevard restaurants PM and ChaChah.

At the end of every meal, a baby dies in a flood!
I think the 'House of Wong' sounds better...plus its more fitting for the location.
I LOVE a ballsy restaurant name.
I love Arnold, too.
Oh I can't wait! Love the logo. And that's very important because I've been known to NOT frequent a place because their logo sucks.
I would hope that if the play on words carries over to the menu they don't label items in an overtly sexual way. Suggestion and humor is far more appealing. consider Red Restaurant's "Meat in the Middle" menu item. It comes off sounding forced, if not infantile. And please don't try to put sexual innuendo with _everything_ on the menu.
i loved the atmosphere, and i loved the name because after every bite i went yum!!
i also liked the modern feel of the place and the fact that it didn't cost 30 dollars a plate. the servings went a huge plate that i also liked because i hate eating out because when your done you have gorged yourself to be able to eat all the food on the plate.
i think it would be a good place to eat after play and tribe close to go eat and detox before having to drive home. and because of the feel of the place it would do good with the younger crowds and the collage students.
so... if you haven't eaten where you should defiantly give this one a try!
