Nuvo Burrito Coming Soon to Five Points

Posted by Carrington Fox on Wed, Jul 8, 2009 at 6:18 AM

If all goes according to plan, Nuvo Burrito restaurant in East Nashville will open softly on Wednesday, July 15. Located behind Marché, in the spot that formerly housed Z's Five Points Deli, Nuvo Burrito is a fast-casual American burrito concept, with low-carb, whole-grain spins on south-of-the-border cuisine.

Expect a roster of innovative quesadillas and burritos with combinations such as Cuban, pizza, chicken-artichoke-goat cheese, eggs-and-chorizo and bacon-and-eggs, as well as chicken, beef, shrimp and pork. Vegetarian offerings will be available, and menu prices will range from $6 to $8.

Owners Tom Justice and Sean Perry will operate the store, which they co-own with

Andy Knight and Shane Yocom.

Located at 1000 Main St., Nuvo Burrito will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

The food is incredible. I've eaten there three times already since their opening on Friday.

I did not like the food at all. There was very little flavor. Also no queso and no outdoor patio!

This place is insanely good. PVP123...sorry about your luck, you must have ordered the Blandy Andy on the menu, cause I've had the Lonestar burrito, the Ozark burrito and the 90210--all delicious. That plus the gwaco and the salsa and fresh chips, yum!
