Ever since I stumbled upon F. Scott's grilled hamburger as part of a half-price Speakeasy Special, I've been waiting for the burger bargain to return. Great news for burger lovers pursuing happiness this week: In honor of July 4, F. Scott's burger--topped with gouda, arugula and aoli and served with pommes frites--is half-price ($7) through July 3 to anyone who whispers the phrase "Stars and Stripes Forever" to the bartender.
As always, the Speakeasy Special is only available in the bar. F. Scott's will be closed on July 4. (If you're making your own burgers that day, here's a hint: gouda, arugula, aoli. Here's an even better hint: Invite chef Will Uhlhorn to your barbecue.)
