Hoist a Glass of Milk to Lost, then Found, Cookies

Production and distribution of Archway cookies has apparently reached the full-retail saturation point, because store shelves once again feature the soft, flavorful cookies.

You may recall that Archway/Mother's had financial troubles last year that ended in the company's decline and subsequent expiration, then litigation. The cookies disappeared from store shelves. In quick succession, Kellogg's bought the Mother's line and (who'd have thunk?) Lance bought Archway. (Lance also owns Tom's and Cape Cod, fyi.)

The photo above was snapped in the Hillsboro Village Harris-Teeter, which had lots of varieties of Archway. So all is well in the land of simulated homebaked snacks. Have you tried the newly re-minted cookies?

Yes! I am happy to report that the Windmill Cookies are as tasty as I remembered.

Yes we've had the windmill, frosty lemon, molasses and date filled oatmeal. Just as tasty as I remembered. As I posted on June 4th in the first Archway discussion, Publix (in Goodlettsville) has a great selection of Archway. I buy a package on every visit to show my support! I was also in the Donelson Food Lion last weekend and saw a small but good selection there (no Frosty Lemon.)
I have yet to find the Frosty Orange so if anyone spots those - let me know!
