The tide of restaurant closings in 2009 leaves us with a surfeit of real estate for dining-related entrepreneurship. The spots we'd most like to see filled--in no particular order--include:

Ombi

Agave

Radius10

Martha's at the Plantation

Nick's Italian Deli

Bistro 215

Green Hills Grille

White Trash Cafe

Wildwood Oak Fired Kitchen

Andrew Chadwick's on Rutledge Hill

The Trace, a.k.a T's Tuscan Grill

Michael T's: An American Grill

Tangredi's Italian Kitchen

Alleycat

Shoney's on Thompson Lane and Nolensville Road

Rumors have it that plans for a few of these places are already in the works, and we'll keep you posted as we learn more. But if you know what's going into any of these vacancies, please spill the beans.

I've been fishing around and here's what I got:
Agave: Leased, no info on who
Bistro 215: Leased, no info
Green HIlls Grille: Leased, no info
Tangredis: Leased to Jet Pizza
I'll keep everyone posted if I get more info.

The Shoney's is not vacant. It is under renovation and they are currently hiring.

I have a solid business plan for an Italian small plates / pizzeria concept.
I am still looking for investors and or partners.

People from F. Scotts have taken over the lease at Bistro 215. They will be opening a bistro/market in the spot later this year.
