Monell's, purveyor of fine fried chicken and comfort food, has sought protection from its creditors under chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code while it reorganizes its finances, according to a story at Nashvillepost.com. The restaurant's attorney, commenting on the situation, said he doesn't expect the situation to affect operations, and the restaurant continues to operate as normal.
