Zumi Sushi, the maiden restaurant venture of Patrick Burke, is scheduled to open on Tuesday. Located in Hillsboro Village between McDougal's Chicken Fingers & Wings and the under-construction Taps & Tapas--two doors down from Savarino's Cucina--Zumi will serve a menu of sushi and other Japanese and Asian dishes, including noodles and a kids' menu.
A Louisville, Ky., transplant and graduate of Vanderbilt University undergraduate and business programs, Burke worked with Red Pony and Sol owner Jason McConnell to develop the menu. Zumi will serve beer, wine and sake.
Located at 2119 Belcourt, Zumi will be open 11 a..m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday adn Saturday.
