Tweet, Tweet. It's the Farmers' Market

OMG, LOL, FWIW...The Nashville Farmers' Market is Twittering. Now you can receive updates about when the Bradley tomatoes roll in, when the farmer with the Chinese long beans shows up or how to prepare kale.

(No, this is not a follow-up to the April Fools posting about Bites going to an all-Twitter format.)

The Twitter addition is just one feature of the newly revamped Market website, which also offers podcasts, an e-newsletter and a link to become Facebook friends with the Market.

This month, the Market offers a podcast of chef Jeremy Barlow discussing what it means to be a Green Restaurant, buying locally and promoting good food. Last month's podcast of Julia Helton discussing seasonal vegetables is also online.
