Posted by Carrington Fox on Tue, Mar 31, 2009 at 1:48 PM

In Dyer Need, the friendly cafe in the ground floor of the Roundabout Plaza, is closing its doors on Friday. Owner Racquel Dyer will continue to operate her catering business from 1700 Church St. (phone: 419-6160).

The space, which was originally occupied by Provence Breads & Cafe, is currently available for sublease.

i hope something good and cheap opens in its place. i work close by & wish there were better options on demonbreun. i liked when provence was in there...but i did not like spending $8 on a turkey sandwich.

I sincerely wish Ms. Dyer the best, but hope that if she opens up somewhere else she will consider another name. In Dyer Need is one of the worst restaurant nmes I've ever heard!

Racquel Dyer has been operating her Catering Business at the Church Street location. A little birdie told me They Might Be expanding out of the Kitchen to take over the Coffee attached to OutLoud Books!!!
I Love the play on Words for the Name of the Business. I am in Dyer need for your lunch specials
