Slow Food Nashville has a spruced-up website -- a lot of that going around these days -- featuring a slate of fun activities for 2009, starting with its first-ever wine event.

Slow partners with Woodland Wine Merchants and Domaine Select wines March 9 to taste and discuss organic and biodynamic wines.

Tandy will be making small appetizers. There are 30 spaces and cost is $19 person. Call Woodland Wine Merchants to reserve a spot, 228-3311.

We appreciate the post, but unfortunately the tasting is already full!
Stop by the store and sign up for our email newsletter to find out about future events; we hope to pair up with Slow Food Nashville again soon.
We do have a couple interesting events planned for the next few weeks: an Emilia-Romagna wine dinner at City House (March 2), an Armagnac tasting at Margot (March 3), and a tasting of 10 wines under $12 (the tasting is only $10, and will be on March 18 at Marche).

Well I'm glad it's full, but sorry I didn't post it sooner. Thanks for pointing the way. Anyone besides me love Armagnac and Margot -- is that one full?
