Grab your comfy pants and a bib and start slurping your way through the steaming gauntlet of broths, bisques, chowders and minestrones at Our Kids' 16th annual Soup Sunday. The event features tastings of soup from dozens of local restaurants, including Watermark, Bricktop's, Wild Ginger and City House, whose chefs will compete for the coveted Golden Spoon and Silver Ladle awards. (Word is there are some SUPER-HOT judges this year, by the way.)
The family-friendly outing includes a silent auction, a magician, balloon artists, face painters, clowns and caricaturists. Tickets are $20 for adults, $8 for kids and $40 for the whole family. Proceeds benefit Our Kids' programs for families affected by child sexual abuse. Soup Sunday takes place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at LP Field Club Level West.
