From the folks who brought you the fearless combination of sushi and fries now comes lunch. Pearl Fusion, the downtown "restro" fusing global flavors such as tempura and mashed potatoes, is venturing into the daylight hours. A lunch menu including sushi, Mongolian beef, lo mein and fried dumplings is available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Located at 204 Commerce St. (phone: 942-6918), Pearl fusion also serves dinner Monday through Saturday starting at 5 p.m. As always, if you get there before we do, report back on Bites.
