Randy Rayburn, owner of Midtown Cafe (dining room pictured at left), Sunset Grill and Cabana, has announced that he will run for the District 18 council seat being vacated by the departing Keith Durbin.

I heard Randy maybe taking his chef's hat out of the ring in favor of Ginger Hausser Pepper's husband. They both live on the same street, so that might be a little close for comfort.
