News Following the Pipers: New Pied Piper Diner Coming Soon

Jack Silverman anointed the East Nashville Listserv "Best Place to Watch the Culture Wars" in the 2008 Best Of Nashville issue, currently on newstands. Well, the ENL also turns out to be a good place to follow the comings and goings of restaurants, as this recent posting from Andy Piper demonstrates:

Brother-and-sister team Andy and Becky Piper, siblings of Pied Piper Creamery's Jenny, are taking over the space at 1601 Riverside that recently housed the Veggie Café. They plan to open Pied Piper Eatery in December. Andy Piper says it will open at 6 a.m. for breakfast and will serve lunch and dinner daily.
