If you’re headed to East Nashville’s farmers’ market at the Turnip Truck on Wednesday, you might want to brush your hair and wear something telegenic—a CNN crew will be there filming chef Jeremy Barlow as he makes his market rounds. If you don’t make it into the TV background, studiously gazing into the eyes of a potato or whispering sweet nothings to ears of corn, you might try showing up for dinner at Barlow’s tayst restaurant tomorrow night, around, say, 6:30 p.m. The CNN crew will be on site filming dinner service at Nashville’s first certified “green” restaurant, and they’ll no doubt be getting plenty of B-roll of Nashville’s A-list diners. To make sure there’s a dinner crowd, Barlow is offering a “tayst of CNN” three-course dinner for $38. For reservations, call 383-1953.
Remember, no making rabbit ears over the chef’s head, and if you see a camera with its red light on, try to look as green as possible.
