Our own Carrington Fox is Exhibit 3 in a dispute between one of East Nashville's hottest hangouts and a local craftsman. The Dickson-based builder of the eye-catching bar at Rumours East filed papers in Davidson County Chancery Court claiming he is owed $15,000. Anthony Ellis has petitioned the court for a lien on the Rumours East property. Among the supporting materials is a line from Fox's review in the Dec. 27, 2007 issue, in which she writes that the wine bar's "creative piece de resistance is artist Tony Ellis' massive serpentine bar...." Exhibit 4 is the article itself.

I sincerely hope everything works out for everyone. And if either party needs counsel, I've got attorney Hamilton Burger on speed dial.
