On the off chance that you stumble across an extra $1,200—either in the sofa cushions or in a window envelope from the IRS—you might consider doing this with your windfall.

Tick...Tick...Tick...Tobin, where are you? What's taking so long?
What? Like a good patriot, I'm trying to eat my way back to economic prosperity. Let me guess, Jack: You're going to SAVE your money. At least go buy an amp or something. Traitor.
Hey, I wasn't saying anything! I was just awaiting the inevitable....
if i could i would. just because. i mean, i love this kind of thing and am curious if chadwick truly knows what he's doing. like in the biggest way. it can look the part and sound the part - but i need to eat the guys food. instead of chadwicks, i went to ombi saturday and city house last night. and i'm saving up for the chicago / nyc trips this summer.
(no london this spring afterall... perhaps in the fall?) but i'll eat grant achatz's food from alinea, and i'm checking out trotter's too. and i'm comped at il molino... all good - althought there's tru and also that asian guy with the amazing place - i forget the name... alinea is going to be the big night. i'm going with a foodie blogger heavyweight and the reservation is endorsed by a bigger foodie heavyweight. should be quite the experience. and that's just chicago. then i get to go to ny and live my 3x a year lie where i pretend this is truly my reality - as my mom and a few friends that are glad to see me pick up a few hefty tabs.
life is good. even without a $1200 dinner...
