PM for the Holidays

Posted By on Mon, Oct 8, 2007 at 10:56 AM

Arnold Myint over at PM is in the holiday spirit, and it's not even Halloween yet. But with a roster of recipes like these burning a hole in the pocket of his chef's coat, how could he possibly wait to spill the beans:

Calamansi Ginger Cranberry Compote
Coconut Palm Sugar Custard Steamed Mini Pumpkins w/ Walnut Crumble
Roasted Brussels Sprouts Katsu w/Thyme and Coconut Shavings
Curried Chicken Pot Pie w/ Cilantro Yogurt and Puff Pastry
Kaffir-Dusted Duck and Pumpkin Massaman w/ Peanuts
Wasabi Pea-Encrusted Pork Loin w/Asian Pear and Pomegranate Wine Reduction
Sweet Potato and Laotian Sausage Bisque w/Creme Fraiche and Scallions
Thai Tea Creme Brulee

Honestly, I can't imagine what some of these things are (Coconut Palm Sugar Custard Steamed Mini Pumpkins w/ Walnut Crumble?). But they sure sound better than green bean casserole. (Before someone launches into a spirited defense of green bean casserole, please, I mean that as harmless hyperbole.)

Arnold will offer the menu for private parties and catered events. He's also launching seasonal cocktails for the fall: Calamansi Lemon Drop Martini, The New Old Fashioned and a Black Orchid Spritzer.

PM, located at 2017 Belmont Blvd., is now closed on Sundays.
