Well, it's been 48 hours since I last blogged about how fabulous Marche is, so it's time for more. But before Tobin the Gnome (frequent blog commenter, notorious curmudgeon and the only person we know who doesn't like Marche) starts groaning, I have some hard news, not just another love letter.
Starting Aug. 14, Marche will be open for dinner until 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. That's two more glorious hours to sup in East Nashville's Valhalla of victuals. The restaurant will also open an hour later each morning, at 8 a.m. (It appears the East Side's notoriously bohemian throngs aren't early-morning types. Who knew?) Weekend hours stay the same: 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. For dyed-in-the-wool Margot-philes (and they are legion), this news is on par with a new Harry Potter book release.
