Best EthiopianGojo
Ahmed and Shemsia Maregn transformed the mercurial cinderblock restaurant on Thompson Lane into a cheery oasis, offering a sample of the flavors and tradition of Ethiopian dining. If you order off the menu, your items all arrive on a large tray covered with injera and dotted with various lentils and cheese. Sharing is encouraged, as is eating with your fingers, so Gojo is a great place for an adventurous group. After the meal, relax over a pot of coffee, which Shemsia roasts on the stove and delivers with elaborate and gracious ceremony. —CARRINGTON FOX
