Suspect Behavior
Not your average meter maid
A
man returned to his illegally parked car and found an officer placing a
ticket on his windshield. The suspect promptly moved his car to a legal
parking spot, then caught up with the cop down the block and demanded
he take back the citation. When the officer refused, the 26-year-old
perp began displaying “extremely provocative and threatening
behaviors,” according to police. The man then put up his fists and took
a “fighting posture,” at which point the officer says he “implemented a
leg sweep” to take down the suspect, further stating in the report that
the maneuver was “executed perfectly.” After patting himself on the
back, the cop handcuffed the perp for resisting arrest and disorderly
conduct.
That’s some glistening hair
Police
responded to the scene of an accident where they discovered someone had
crashed into a utility pole and then abandoned the wrecked car.
Officers went to the address listed on the vehicle’s registration, and
a man with a black eye and scratches on his face answered the door.
When asked if he had been involved in a wreck, the 23-year-old pleaded
ignorance, saying he’d been asleep with his girlfriend all night and
had no idea what happened to his car.
Officers then interviewed the man’s girlfriend—who still had shards of
glass in her hair—and she finally admitted they were on their way home
from a bar when her boyfriend lost control of the car. After crashing,
the couple fled before police arrived, walking two miles to their home.
The suspect pleaded with officers to let him go because “he had been
punished enough by crashing his car,” but police were not persuaded,
and he was booked for leaving the scene of an accident and giving a
false statement.
Ex-girlfriend gone wild
A
family reunion turned violent when a man’s ex-girlfriend crashed the
party and began arguing with her former flame. The man’s sister stepped
up to defend her brother and warned the suspect “not to be
disrespecting her family,” police say. In response, the jilted lover
punched the man’s sister in the face, and then pulled her right ring
finger, nearly dislocating it. Police responded to the family fiasco
and arrested the ex for assault.
