Suspect Behavior
Police responded to a domestic disturbance near Cleveland Park in East Nashville and were greeted by a woman drinking whisky and screaming obscenities on her front porch. Officers told the woman, 47, to quiet down, and she ran inside the house and locked the screen door behind her. The perp taunted police, then pulled up her skirt and asked if either of them wanted to have sex. Neighbors congregated on the sidewalk as the suspect continued to undress, until police finally managed to get in the house and arrest the woman. While in the back of the patrol car, the suspect spread her legs and again asked if either of the cops wanted to get some. When they declined, police say the suspect repeatedly called them queers until arriving at the station, where she was booked for indecent exposure and public intoxication.
What a rack(et)
A
heated argument turned obscene when police attempted to calm a
23-year-old woman and got a peep show instead. Officers were attempting
to defuse a domestic dispute when the female suspect told them to mind
their own business, then took off her shirt and threw it at them. With
her breasts exposed, the woman began cursing, yelling and pointing her
finger at police, saying she could do whatever the hell she wanted in
her own house. When the woman finally calmed down and put her shirt
back on, police say she admitted she had drunk “a lot of alcohol,” and
she was charged with public indecency and public intoxication.
Where’s the beef?
A
customer at the Kmart on Murfreesboro Pike ripped open several packages
of beef jerky and stuffed the meaty treats into his pocket before
strolling out of the store without paying. A security officer
confronted the male suspect, who was unsteady on his feet and slurring
his words. When the guard told the 23-year-old carnivore he was under
arrest for shoplifting, police say he bit the officer on the hand and
attempted to get away. Because of his intoxication, however, the man
made it only a few feet before stumbling to the ground, at which point
he was arrested for theft, assault and public intoxication.
