Suspect Behavior
A nightmare on Wiley Street
Police responded to a Madison home after receiving several calls about an ongoing screaming match between two sisters. After arriving at the Wiley Street residence, officers found one of the women bleeding profusely from the arm, and during questioning learned the other sister had crept into her sibling’s bedroom two nights earlier and attacked the snoozing victim. “The victim stated that the defendant came at her with an 8-inch steak knife while she was asleep in bed…and cut her twice in the left forearm,” police say. The suspect, 31, was booked for aggravated assault, and her sister was taken to the hospital to receive stitches.
Indecent proposal
A man standing under a tree at Percy Priest Lake engaged the wrong guy in “homosexual conversation” on a recent Saturday afternoon. The suspect, 36, was “touching himself through his front pocket” as he told the plainclothes officer, “I like to give blowjobs,” police say. The perp went on to pull out his genitals and play with himself in front of the officer, who then arrested him for indecent exposure.
What a (clean) freak
A female driver stopped at the intersection of Nolensville Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard and decided that was a good place to clean out her car. A cop drove by the scene just as the woman, 49, was discarding trash all over the road. “The woman was holding a pack of cigarettes and also a knife with a 2 ½-inch blade in the same hand,” the officer reports. “I told her three times to drop the knife before she complied.…While I was taking her into custody she poured a Full Throttle energy drink over my head.” The perp then tried to pull away from the officer, who did a “one-arm take down on the subject” before cuffing her for disorderly conduct.
Rockin’ a little too hard
A 25-year-old man was found outside the Hard Rock Café on Lower Broadway “passed out with no pants on exposing his buttocks and genitals to the public.” When officers arrived and woke the suspect, he could not remember where his clothes were, according to police. The man had no identification on him and apparently could not answer any of the questions asked of him. He was charged with public indecency and public intoxication.
