Suspect Behavior
A hot sausage
A manager at the Monroe Street Kroger became suspicious when he observed a customer “conceal a sausage in his hooded jacket pocket” and continue shopping. The 34-year-old suspect proceeded through the self-checkout lane where he paid for several items but oddly enough not the reasonably priced pork in his pocket. The manager stopped the thief in the parking lot and called police to the scene of the wienie heist.
That’s some fetish
A man shopping at Kohl’s department store was caught on closed-circuit security cameras “urinating on two articles of clothing.” Security guards responded to the scene of the unlawful leak and discovered “two fleece jackets valued at $90” had been the targets of the golden shower. The suspect, 46, was located in another part of the store, taken into custody and booked for indecent exposure and vandalism.
What not to do while on probation

Police patrolling Edgehill Homes watched a man exit his vehicle, leave it running and walk into the complex, where he remained for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, officers ticketed his car, called a tow truck and searched the vehicle, where they found a lot of incriminating evidence, including 8 grams of crack, 6 grams of marijuana, a numbers betting slip and the man’s probation report. When the driver returned, police asked what he was doing on 11th Avenue and he said he was “visiting his homeboy” but could not remember his friend’s name or address. Police then asked why he left his car running. He said he didn’t, suggesting maybe it was stolen. “He then changed his story and stated he had never even been on 11th Avenue.” Needless to say, the suspect was jailed for various charges, including trespassing, filing a false report and a felony drug offense.
