If only “school” wasn’t spelled correctly on the same damn sign. Thank heavens you didn’t try to spell “elementary.” But here’s a thought: wouldn’t it be subversive if Karl Dean operatives had rearranged the sign, thinking it might draw voters to his platform of improvements for K-4 education? Well, it looks like it worked, mayor. Now let’s see some results. We know there’s someone at Cora Howe who wouldn’t do so well on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? and probably shouldn’t be molding young minds. While we’re at it, see if Bredesen will make TennCare a little more like House and Grey’s Anatomy. The new fall season is almost here!
