Does this bus look to you like it belongs to a cult? When we happened upon it in Centennial Park the other day, our religion meter (or pray-dar, if you will) wasn’t sure. A man named Giddon came out and told us he was part of a new Twelve Tribes community in Pulaski. Giddon said the group was founded in Chattanooga in the ’70s by a guy named Gene. He gave us a “freepaper” outlining the teachings of Yahshua, the true son of God. Then we drank some special green tea and became filled with the urge to beat some children with a rod, as Proverb 23:14 suggests. You’re right, we’re probably just being paranoid.
