Where are you from? Las Vegas, Nev.

How long have you been in Nashville? Two days.

Well how's it going so far? Aw man, it's just great, really great. This place right here's got the best coffee right in my price range—a dollar—and I run into this guy who's gonna be in my group called the Kings and we're ready for Nashville. We're the Next Big Thing. Matter of fact, I'm switchin' to ASCAP tomorrow unless BMI apologizes to me.

How long have you been playing music? I got my first guitar when I was I was about 5 years old. My daddy used to play steel guitar for Hank Snow.

Met any women since you been in town? Naw man. I ain't got time for 'em. I got to do my music and God. But I will let 'em come up and touch my hand.

Any advice for the lonely? Loneliness will kill ya. Read the Bible, man, the whole Bible. That's all you need—everything else will fall together.

Who's your favorite president? God Bless George W. Bush. I voted for the man in the interest of national security. I think they ought to make George W. Bush the president indefinitely and hold the next election until we get rid of all these terrorists. That's what I think. I want to play USO shows for George W. Bush and sing a song for him.
