VILLAGE VOICE MEDIA DJ SPIN-OFF CONTEST RULES

 
A.  Description of Contest/Participation: 

Local DJ Spin-off to win a chance to spin a minimum of a 30 minute set at Ultra Music Festival in

Miami, FL on Saturday, March 25, 2006.  Local DJs send a mixed CD to Inga Baekkelund,

Must be a resident of Tennessee.  Must include DJ name and real name, address, phone number and email with your mixed cd of any style of spin.  One DJ will be selected to spin a minimum of a 30 minute set at the 2008 Ultra Music Festival on Friday, March 28th at

Miami, FL.  Submissions will not be returned. Prize includes one roundtrip airfare for winner only to

Miami, FL arriving March 28 and leaving March 30, one hotel room for two nights March 28 and March 29 and entry into Ultra Music Festival March 29.  Winner is responsible for all ground transportation, food and drinks and hotel incidentals. 

 
B. Dates of Contest:  The Contest will be conducted beginning January 17, 2008 and ending on or about February 28, 2007.

 
C.  How to Enter:

 
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY.  PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.  Odds of winning vary greatly depending on number of entrants.  Void where prohibited.  Register by sending in your mix tape to the Marketing Director.  Deadline for registration is 5:00 p.m. CST on February 22, 2007.  ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.  Only residents of the states where the participating newspapers are published and distributed are eligible to enter this contest.  The participating newspapers are:  Phoenix New Times (Arizona),  Westword (Colorado),  Dallas Observer and Houston Press (Texas),  SF Weekly (California), Pitch Weekly (Missouri and Kansas),  Riverfront Times (Missouri and Illinois), Scene Magazine (Ohio), Miami New Times and New Times Broward/Palm Beach (Florida), Village Voice (New York),  Nashville Scene (Tennessee), City Pages (Minnesota), LA Weekly (Los Angeles), OC Weekly (Orange County).
