Mike Grimes may not be a rock star, but there's little doubt that he's a man who's made it in music. Between founding and co-owning Nashville's nationally known ground-zero-of-cool record store Grimey's—as well as the store's downstairs haunt of a rock club The Basement, where he's hosted artists ranging from Jandek to Metallica—and heading up the city's premier party band Guilty Pleasures, Grimes is a full-time local legend.
