Here's what they want us to tell you: “The Radio City Christmas Spectacular returns to Nashville with dazzling scenery, costumes and lighting, as well as a cast and crew of nearly 100 members. In addition to the Rockettes' showstopper ‘12 Days of Christmas,’ this magical production features the legendary favorite ‘Parade of the Wooden Soldiers’ and the awe-inspiring ‘Living Nativity.’ This exciting holiday event is a must-see for the entire family!" Here's our take: The Rockettes! Like, dozens of them. There will be more stems on that stage than on a florist's floor. They swing their legs around in unison. Like synchronized swimming, except on land! Like Cirque de Soleil, what without the Frenchi-fied existential stuff! The by-God Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders of the world! Except, er, with a whole heapin' helping of Christian imagery involved.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Nov. 20. Continues through Dec. 27, 2009
