If you’re familiar with Keith Alberstadt (and chances are good you may be: he’s a Father Ryan grad, Vanderbilt alum and former Commodores football personality), you know he equally possesses a talent for comedy and a tireless work ethic. He also can’t say no to a good cause or the opportunity to make a return trip from his adopted home of New York City. Fitting, then, that the Letterman vet and contributing writer for Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will be headlining the 16th annual Laughter for the Children charity event, with proceeds benefiting child-welfare agency Monroe Harding. Brooks & Dunn’s Kix Brooks serves as honorary chair; the evening will also include dinner courtesy of Logan’s Roadhouse, drinks, a strolling magician and both live and silent auctions. Visit laughterforthechildren.org or monroeharding.org for tickets and additional information.
