Don't expect a star turn by Tom Hanks or an Eyes Wide Shut-style ritual orgy, but if this alternative-space show by a pair of ambitious Watkins students is half as good as the mystery they've wrapped it in, it's certainly worth a stop on your way to or from Fifth Avenue. In the grand tradition of the Secret Show Series, these scholar-artists have taken it upon themselves to create their own venue, filling empty space with inspiration and demonstrating the kind of gung-ho spirit no art scene can get enough of. William McKinney and Clayton Lancaster are the pair behind Impotent Dogs. Together they have conceived this show and created all the work, which includes sculpture, paintings and slide/video installation.
