This historic Middle Tennessee fable about sinister doings taking place in the 19th Century town of Adams has been presented in various milieus in recent years. This particular stage version, written and directed by Ric White, was first presented 10 years ago at the Sumner County Playhouse. Now, heading toward the Halloween season, it makes a series of local stops: Oct. 16-18 at Nashville's fairgrounds, Oct. 23-25 in Lebanon at the Wilson County Fairgrounds and Oct. 29-31 in Murfreesboro at the Patterson Theatre. White's play is based on the book written by Charles Bailey Bell from recollections of the Bell family and friends who witnessed the eerie events. For more information visit BellWitchStory.com.
