If 72 isn't too old to be president, then it certainly isn't too old to make your Ryman debut. That's the reward for a winning audition at this talent contest for performers ages 60 and up. Sing, play or dance your way into the top ten, and you'll come back in October for the finals at the legendary church of country music. With over $7,500 in prizes up for grabs, this one is worth missing the early bird special for. For information, visit hssilverstars.com or call 665-8772. Participants should arrive between 10 a.m. and noon; there is no cost to watch.
