Fact: Not all Wayanses are created equal. With an entire clan of creative geniuses (see Keenan Ivory, Damon, Marlon, Kim, et al.) at your back, anyone can get up and goof around in front of a camera, but it takes a little something extra for the second-youngest of ten to stand out, particularly behind the scenes. Not only did Shawn star in the Emmy-winning In Living Color (look for reruns this fall on Comedy Central) and direct the WB syndicated juggernaut The Wayans Bros, he's written and produced films ranging from Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood and the Scary Movie franchise to White Chicks and Little Man. His live performance dates are fewer and further between than most comedians, so when he puts time into working out specific premises, you know something big's coming down the pipeline.
