Piecing Tennessee History

I'm pretty good at piecing together events after an evening of drinking, but I've always been in awe of the amazing things some artisans can do with little more than scraps and a spool of string. This weekend offers an opportunity for quilt-lovers to ogle some of the state's best handiwork and hear a lecture on the historical context of the Tennessee State Museum's collection given by senior curator Dr. Candace J. Adelson. Also on display is Legs & Leaves, an exhibit featuring intricate and whimsical works from the Cumberland Furniture Guild.
