Daniel Tosh

I owe Daniel Tosh an apology. Circa 2004, I wanted to punch him in his perfectly sculpted face with every one of his generic, overly-cutesy relationship quips. But a couple of years ago, he ditched the Dane Cook-light persona and got real. Real insightful. Real vicious. Real twisted. Since, he's performed with Dave Attell and Louis C.K. and released the densely layered DVD Completely Serious—one of 2007's best. So maybe he's the one who owes the apology: appearance in The Love Guru aside, Tosh had been holding out on both the industry and audiences. He's graduating to theaters, so catching his current club run before he really blows up'll save a few future apologies to yourself.
