Barack the Vote
Published on August 07, 2008 at 3:41am
(Mc)Cain the Vote just doesnt have the same ring. Add that to the long list of things that make Senator Barack Obama cooler than his over-ripe presidential rival. Say what you will about "experience" and "leadership" and "judgement," but many young voters find it just as important that their president not talk about doing "a google." And it's not just an issue of street cred or some other vapid categorization, they want a leader who's ready to live and breath in our contemporary technological landscape. And it doesn't hurt if cool bands like him too. This free, two-night event at Exit/In will offer up the local musical stylings of Steve Lee, Jeremy Lister, The Lonely Hearts, Hollywood Kills, Cougar Fight and Sound & Shape. If you need more information, feel free to do a google.
