You
want to support the “Under God” candidate. (Uh-oh, Fred, better keep
working that “I’m like Reagan, who didn’t go to church because he saw
God while riding his horse at his ranch” line.) Mike Huckabee has been
doing well of late touting his title as Rev. as much as Gov. But are
you ready to go from John Q. Public to John Q. the Baptist? Mitt Romney
held a Kennedy-esque press conference to explain that Jesus is No. 1 on
his prayer speed dial, even if some Mormons have him a little further
down. But Mitt has asserted he does not approve of Kennedy’s de facto
polygamy (read: serial adultery). Then there’s Obama, who has stressed
that he has no past connection to a madrasah. Hillary’s team must have
misread his third-grade report on muslin. In other words, everyone’s
putting a hand on the Bible to be sworn in. Let’s move on.
